1. On the 1st September 2003 someone posted on Piston Heads the following - Major Police presence on the A404 this morning. An unmarked blue camera/ANPR van (cameras through windows above rear doors) parked on the grass verge halfway between THOSE corners, two marked bikes waiting to pounce at the Penn turn and then a road block with three marked cars at the Winchmore Hill turn. I was going to stop and ask what it was all about on my return trip, but all that was left was the Police Slow signs, invoking plenty of cry wolf syndrome (ie panic braking numpties).

2. On the 26th May 2011 someone posted on Piston Heads the following - My wife works in the NHS and a patient complained about her about a year ago. The hospital investigated the claims and found no mal-practice. But this did not satisfy the patient who took the case to the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Last week we found out that the NMC panel have determined there is no case to answer. However, the patient is in the legal profession and I am concerned that they will try another route. This person has a serious agenda against my wife for no reason, claiming that her actions knowingly (her claims bordering on intentionally I would say) threatened lives and drove the person complaining to try and jump out of an upper floor window in an attempt to end their ordeal!

Can anyone advise if any private legal action could potentially be brought? Also, the threat of being struck off has put serious pressure on my wife and upset her very much for a number of months. I fully appreciate the right for people to complain, but, just in case, is there any avenue for us bringing a counter claim if necessary, perhaps based on making false and malicious claims that sort to destroy my wifes personal and professional character? I hope this all ends now tbh, but I just want to have all bases covered before the mrs has another panic! Thanks in advance.

4. On the 17th October 2021 someone posted on Trip Advisor the following - 9/10 - I visited the Bull today and I have to say what a lovely Village pub the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was typical old pub food which was very nice ! Very dog friendly as the staff fell in love with my dog and the dog biscuits kept on coming. Big thank to the team! Look forward to my next visit x.

5. On the 20th of June 2021 someone posted on Trip Advisor the following - Disappointing - We waited a long time to visit this hotel but were underwhelmed by the whole experience. The staff in the breakfast room/restaurant were very good (especially Peter), however elsewhere they were distinctly average. Reception was poor and inattentive, no porters to get our bags to the 3rd floor. Housekeeping was woeful, our bathroom was not clean on arrival and even after calling for it to be cleaned it was not carried out to a satisfactory condition. Our room was tiny and not cleaned properly.

6. On the 16th of June 2022 someone posted on Trip Advisor the following - ABSOLUTE RIP OFF - Overpriced with old stale veg - portion were ridiculously small for the price of the dish - do not waste your time.
